Ongartsutthikul started her first Thai Kitchen restaurant in Maryland Heights but sold it to her sister, who later sold it to an unrelated party. The restaurant remains in business today. Since it is called Thai Kitchen, she didn’t want to confuse the community, so she used Thai Mama. It is the same menu and great service that customers of Thai Kitchen have grown to love.
